Day 1 : Yangon Arrival

Arrive to Yangon. Meet at Airport and transfer to Hotel. Drive to downtown to see and feel the city of Yangon, once under British colonial for 200 yrs. Photo stop near Sule Pagoda with its golden chedi, which makes a useful landmark in downtown Yangon and impressive colonial style government buildings such as the City Hall, General Telegraph Office, the Supreme Court, High Court and many pastel- painted shops and apartments. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Yangon City Tour

Sightseeing Yangon (guided tour with private car) … the tour leads along Strand Road, into Mahabandoola Street, to India-town and China-town. Stop for a visit at Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Image, then we make a short stop at the Royal Lake where we can admire the view of the Karaweik Hall overlooking this scenic lake. Later visit to Bogyoke Market, , formally known as Scott Market, a sprawling 75 year old shopping complex noted for its variety of handicrafts and other items which provide an excellent opportunity for a shopping spree. Enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, famous world wide – its golden stupa is the ‘heart’ of Buddhist Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar people praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it’s a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Yangon - Bagan

Transfer to airport. Yangon – Bagan by flight. Transfer to hotel. Visit the ancient capital of ‘Bagan’ and its architecture from 10 -13century AD. When you talk about Bagan, it is needless to say about Buddhism that flourished together with Bagan culture. Sightseeing in Bagan includes Nyaung Oo Market; a village market where you can find from wet market of fish and meat to house hold things like ratten baskets, cotton wear and antiques. Visits:- Shwezgon Pagoda; prototype golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple famous for its intricately carved stucco contains depictions of ogresses and mythological animals like Makara sea creatures of12th century. The temple contains beautiful murals and frescoes of Buddhist depictions done in several colors. Some of them have faded considerably. Ananda Temple; the most beautiful temple with 4 standing Buddhas in four cardinal points, history or lord Buddha and outside of the temple is decorated withTerra-Cotta worriers in green glaze plaques . Visit Lacquerware Factory and stroll around the village of Myinkaba, visit Manuha Temple; the temple of captive king of Tha-ton, and Pyattadagyi Temple for panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 4: Bagan - Mandalay

Transfer to airport. Bagan – Mandalay by flight. Ex airport, start excursion to ancient capital of Amapura “meaning city of immortality”. Visit Mahagandayon Monastery, home to several hundred of Buddhist novices and monks and observe the lunch process. Then visit to Silk Weaving cottage industry and the 200 year old U Bein teak bridge span across Thaungthaman Lake at the time when Amarapura was Royal capital. Afterwards, drive to Mandalay. visit Phayagyi to observe the most revered Mahamuni Image brought by King Bodawpaya in 1784 from Rakhine. The 4 meter seated Image was believed to have been casted in 1st century AD but over the year of offering gold leaf offering the figure is 15 cm thicket by gold. After a visit to stone carving, bronze casting, transfer to hotel. This afternoon, continue your tour of Mandalay with a visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda, whose 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures have earned it the title ‘World’s Biggest Book’. Continue to Shwenandaw Monastery, the only remaining building from the 19th century Royal Palace. This grand teak building is known for its exquisite woodcarving. Head to the top of Mandalay Hill as the sun begins to set to enjoy magnificent views of the city and Irrawaddy River. “Kuthodaw Pagoda (listed on the memory of the World register of the UNESCO) “ Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 5: Depart from Mandalay International airport

After breakfast, transfer to Mandalay International Airport for departure flight.

Booking Condition & Payment Terms
  • Booking Cut- off date 1 month (31 days) before departure. Once the booking is confirmed, need to make 50% of the payment to secure the booking and balance to be made before 31 days ahead.
  • We will need passenger passport copies to issue domestic flight tickets once the booking is confirmed to avoid any spelling mistake.
  • Domestic airfares are subject to change without prior notice. Will inform and collect if the airlines announce Fuel Surcharge, Airport tax, etc.
  • Kindly check with us if your travel date meets with X’mas Eve or New Year’s Eve, there will be surcharge for compulsory Dinners at the hotels.
