Hi Ne Win and team,

First of all I would like to thank you and your team for organizing a fantastic trip for me and my parents last weeks. My parents where super satisfied. Everything was very well organized and the different tour guides were all fantastic in their own way. We enjoyed all their stories en explanations and it was nice that they were all a little bit different from each other.
Only one small remark could be made; both my parents and I thought that the hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin (The Aureum) was a little bit to over-the-top and luxurious for our taste, the fact that it was owned by the Htoo group (who also ruined Bagan with this ugly tower) also doesn’t help. I think it would be better to find, where possible, alternatives that are owned by local entrepreneurs so that profits also flow back to the local community. Of course I don’t know how this is for the other hotels we slept in, but for this one I know it for sure and it would feel more ethical to do it this way. I really hope that Mr Charles is still locally owned because we did very much loved that place!

Also: I have friends coming over this Christmas and my sister and her friend are coming at the end of January. For both of them I am discussing with them what they would like to see/do and in that respect have a few questions that I hope you can help me with:
– Is there any bus connections between: Hpa-an or Mawlamyine and Kalaw or Bagan?
– Is there a flight connection between Dawei and Bagan or Mandalay?
– Is there a bus going from Hsipaw directly to Yangon?
– Do you have any trekking recommendations other than Kallaw and Hsipaw?

Thank you so much for helping and looking forward to build some more itineraries with you!
