Green Hill Valley Elephant camp – Inle Lake (Nyaung Shwe)
Drive to Green Hill Elephant. Then walk to the river where elephant bath and you can join in feeding and washing to the elephants.
Option: having an experience of sitting on the elephant’s back (like Mahout) after washing.
Then exploration of the forest area, opportunity to see butterflies, birds and orchids around our conservation area (30-40 min). Lunch at the main camp. You are also welcome by planting regional trees from our nursery in our forest recovery efforts.
Drive to Nyaung Shwe; the gateway of Inle Lake.
Notes:
- The elephant camp is set up in an area where there is a risk of malaria. We recommend bringing insect repellents.
- Around Elephant camp area, anit-malaria precautions have been taken
- All safety precautions with the elephants have been taken.
- Clients are recommended to wear long pants, long sleeved shirts and good walking shoes (trekking boots). Sun screen is also suggested.
